when Upload and The Good Place came out, I was team the The Good Place all the way. Not that it is a competition, but it's difficult not to compare them since they're both shows about the afterlife and the showrunners are, respectively, Michael Shur and Gregg Daniels, the ones responsible for Parks and Rec, one of my favorite shows ever. And I can say the same about The Good Place, I love this show so much. I've even watched it twice, and I know I'm going to watch it again many times in the future 'cause I'm that kind of person. As for Upload, I still haven't watched the third season - when I tried, I quickly gave up 'cause I didn't remember much of the previous seasons. But you know what? I think about Upload all the time. all-the-time. way more than I think about The Good Place. Upload is my Black Mirror, I often think to myself, "oh that's so Upload". In the second season, there's a group of "rebels" that went out to live in the woods without technology (OK, it's not exactly like that), and it's about them that I think the most.
